Week 8: Cross Hatching
A Family Portrait taken during our Family Picnic at the Changu-Narayan Temple premises situated at a village in the western part of Kathmandu back in 1984.
I am the youngest one being carried by my Father in this picture.
My family, belonging to a Hindu family, used to worship the god and goddesses at the temple premises in the morning then we would have a big feast for all of us and the relatives there !!
Also we would hang out all day in the village with local children, play with goats, sheeps, play hide and seek and other games !! Also we used to go and enjoy the beautiful winter scenery of mustard fields and Marigold Gardens !!
Then later we would come back in the temple premises again and would have another feast in the evening before heading back to the city by a local bus reserved by my family specially for the picnic !!
